PSE Mark - signs productsafety in Japan  

PSE Certification (namedthe Applicability Certification in Japan)is the compulsory market access requirements for the electrical products in Japan. TheSafety Law of Electrical Appliance & Materials,divides the electricalproducts into 2 groups, “specific electrical appliance & materials” and”non-specific electrical appliance & materials”. The group of “specificelectrical appliance & materials” covers 115 products. To enter theJapanese market,these products must be certified by a third party authorized bythe Japanese Ministry of Economic, Trade and Industry (METI)

Japan DENTORL Law(electrical control devices and materials) provides 498 kinds of products intothe Japanese market must pass the safety certification. Among them, 165 kindsof A-type products should be made T-MARK certification, 333 kinds of B-typeproducts should be made S-MARK certification

According to DENTORL law,333 kinds of products B sub-7 ：

Between 100V-300Vsingle-phase motors simple

household electrical orvideo products

civilian use of lightsources or household products

electronic products forhousehold and commercial

From the 2001 years 4 on1 on from " Electrical Products Control Act ( DENTORL) " officiallychanged its name to " Electrical Product Safety Act (DENAN)"

is different from theprevious system of laws and regulations of the control provisions of theAgreement, the new system non-government agencies will be to ensure the safetyof products.
